Jesus Embraced was founded by Eric and Amy Lorenzen on August 31, 2020.
We (Amy and Eric) began these Bible studies as a way to use our unique abilities to reach the local community. We combined our teaching skills and Eric’s experience in writing and publishing to create a series of highly-interactive Bible studies. We hope that you find our studies to be both encouraging and spiritually challenging.
What’s with the name Jesus Embraced?
To us, we are Jesus Embraced because He first loved us and embraced us.
We are Jesus Embraced because we hold onto Jesus dearly.
Our mission is to craft Bible studies that embody the Jesus Embraced way, where all of us come together to learn, to laugh, and to do what we are meant to do. We want to draw people closer, closer to God and to each other.
He has loved all of us and we love Him too- which is the truth of being Jesus Embraced.

Our (Eric and Amy) wedding rings have the phrase “Abide in Me” engraved on the inside. It is a reference to one of our favorite verses (John 15:4), because we understand that Jesus is essential for everything.
